Bajaj Platina is based on this technology and a similarity is seen with the Bajaj Wind. The Platina comes with chrome grpahics in silver-platinum colour.
Bajaj Auto based in Pune, Maharashtra and has its plants in Chakan, Waluj and Akurdi. The company has won several laurels in recent 2007 being The Bike Manufacturer of the year 2007. Bajaj Platina and Bajaj Pulsar won the best bikes in 2007. Several awards were won earlier in Export Excellence. The company also won an award for Industrial Safety in 2001 By the National Safety Council.
