Soichiro Honda took the pioneering effort to evolve easy transport after the second World War. It was a series of popular brands with Honda Dio, Eterno, Unicorn and Shine. The Honda Activa is a trend setter most popular amongst women commuter owing to its non gear function. The foray into scooters set its alliance with the Hero Group.

Honda Activa works on the gearless concept. This is a famous brand and the first bike launched in India. This offers much ease to the ride as it is less stressful for the biker. The tuff up tube is another interesting feature of Activa.

This model is a great hit with women commuters. The model is well styled with seamless and crease free paint.

Honda Shine is a better mileage bike. The frame is light weight and has powerful shock absorbers. The height of the bike is a little more in compares to other models but the bike is capable to handle speed. It has a tuffup tyre and offers a mileage of 65 kmpl.

The contribution of Satoshi lijima in the technology of airbag system for motorcycles which is an extensive research spanning for over 30 years was recognized and awarded at the 20th International Technical Conference on the Enhance Safety of vehicles in Lyon. The airbag system was also incorporated in the GL 1800 Gold Wing model and this is a major contribution to cover road crashes in motorbikes.
