TVS motorbikes India are one of the oldest manufactures in two wheeler machines. Quality is their way of life. This is the 3rd largest bike manufacturer in India. Founded by Sundaram Iyengar in 1911, the TVS company has won the Deming Prize for Total Quality Management.

In 1980 the first Moped with two seater facility was launched. 1984 the TVS company with Japanese collaboration rolled out motorcycles for the Indian road. The Scooterette a very self sufficient manufacturing was done through TVS Scooty. Other launches like Shogun, Shaolin happened in 1996 and 1997 respectively. |

A 4 stroke motorcycle was introduced in 2000 as the TVS Fiero. TVS Victor came in 2001 as a 110 cc motorcycle.
Optimum mileage was seen in 2004 launch of TVS Centra. The year 2004 also witnessed a tough bike for rough roads in TVS Star. 2005 was a time for accolades for the TVS company with the launch of Apache. The company went on to bag 6 merit awards.

A perfect marriage of traditional look and modern engineering is seen in TVS Apache. The bike signifies muscle power in its stocky built. There is full justice done in employing aerodynamics and the head lamp is shaped as an arrow. The mud guard has a triangular shape for a macho look. The machine is symbolic of power and its is witnessed in its black alloy wheels, a low handle bar, and 16 litre fuel tank. The driver is able to bend much in the forward direction for enabling stylish driving. The power is at 13.5 bhp at 8500 rpm. It is a 147.5 cc engine capacity and has a longer spark endurance. Better fuel efficiency is another feature owing to gear start and a constant velocity carburetor.

The company also is involved in imparting education and extensive building of schools. Health camps are often conducted by the company and other infrastructure like sanitation developments are frequently undertaken by the TVS Motor company.
